Installing, Calibrating and Maintaining Electronic Instruments (TI25)
This combination of practical information and hands-on experiences covers proper installation, calibration, and maintenance of electronic instruments. You will examine characteristics of electronic control systems, techniques for installing electronic instruments, and procedures for configuring and calibrating transmitters, transducers, and controllers. Approximately 40% of your time in this course is spent in the lab, working with the equipment.

Understanding Advanced Reliability Testing
High-κ metal gate (HKMG) technology has highlighted the need to incorporate high-speed source/measurement testing into the physical and statistical modeling of intrinsic failure mechanisms that display time resolved phenomenon. Past reliability modeling test tools relied primarily on relatively slow DC semiconductor parametric analyzers and manual probing solutions. Today, failure mechanisms such as bias temperature instability (N-BTI and P-BTI) require high speed source and measure capability, such as pulse I/V, to resolve fast recovery affects.

Reducing Test Time with Distributed Programming in PXI, LXI, TSP, and GPIB Hybrid Systems
This seminar introduces the concepts of distributed processing and concurrent execution and illustrates the benefits they provide in both overall test time and test system development costs. The seminar offers insight into the advantages of developing hybrid test systems with multiple instrument interfaces, including TSP, GPIB, LXI, and PXI. Each interface has advantages in some applications within a test system; dramatic speed improvements can be realized by optimizing the use of each interface.
